After years of convergence failures, the iPhone is going to be the acid test for the concept.</p> <p>Frankly, I still the iPhone (like all convergence devices) doesn't have enough acidity. The touch screen is its weak point. I can't believe people are going to give up keyboards (even tiny ones) for touch screens.</p> <p>The last new product to generate as much media hype as the iPhone was New Coke and we know what happened to that one.</p> Very astute blog. Frankly, I still the iPhone (like all convergence devices) doesn’t have enough acidity. The touch screen is its weak point. I can’t believe people are going to give up keyboards (even tiny ones) for touch screens.
