Goodbye WordPress

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working on converting this blog from WordPress to a static site generated by some custom Python scripts. Yesterday, I finally made the switch.

Everything looks pretty much the same as it did before, but things should feel a bit faster. Most importantly, it’s a lot more pleasant to write posts in the new system, so hopefully I’ll get back to blogging a bit more regularly.
